Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 August 2026
These terms of service apply to the purchase and use of profiles (Featured and Match) and website rental via the MyFinder network, including app.myfinder.io and all associated niche sites (FindBogholder.nu, FindRevisor.nu, TheBookkeeperList.com, TheAccountantList.com, etc.).
1. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to businesses and sole traders (B2B) who create a profile or rent a website via MyFinder. They do not apply to individuals using the network's websites to find and contact a profile — for them, our privacy policy applies instead.
2. Parties to the agreement
The agreement is entered into between you/your business and:
Miki Ipsen (FindNu.dk)CVR: 38002708
Sophienlund 41, 3400 Hillerød, Denmark
Email: support@myfinder.io
3. Profiles and subscriptions
We offer the following profile types:
Company profiles
- Free profile — no charge, with limited functionality.
- Featured profile — paid subscription with extended functionality, including visibility, descriptions, and an optional associated website.
Employee profiles
- Free profile — no charge, with limited functionality.
- Featured profile — paid subscription with extended functionality.
- Match profile — paid subscription with access to matching features.
Current prices are shown on myfinder.io at the time of purchase.
4. Payment and invoicing
Paid profiles are invoiced annually in advance. Payment is processed via our payment provider, Stripe.
Automatic renewal: Your subscription renews automatically for a further period on the same terms, unless you cancel before the end of the current period, see section 6. You will receive a reminder before renewal takes place.
5. Right of withdrawal
As our services are sold to businesses and sole traders (B2B) for use in their trade or profession, purchases fall under the business exemption from the right of withdrawal under Danish consumer law. Accordingly, no right of withdrawal applies to purchases of Featured or Match profiles.
6. Cancellation
A paid subscription (Featured or Match) is bound for a period of 1 year from the date of creation. No refunds are given if the subscription is cancelled before the end of the bound period.
Cancellation must take place before the end of the current period to avoid automatic renewal, see section 4. Cancellation can be done via account settings in the portal or by contacting support@myfinder.io.
Upon cancellation, the profile is downgraded to a free profile (or deactivated, if no free tier exists for that profile type) at the end of the bound period.
7. Copyright in profile content
You retain ownership and copyright of the content you upload or enter on your profile (including images, logo, text, and descriptions).
By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute the content on the platform — including on the relevant niche site, in search results, and in marketing of the platform (e.g. profile examples in marketing materials). This license applies for as long as your profile is active, and to a reasonable extent thereafter for archival and documentation purposes.
You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to the content you upload, and that the content does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, or other rights. You are solely responsible for, and shall indemnify and hold us harmless against, any claim, loss, or expense arising from content you have uploaded infringing the rights of a third party.
We reserve the right to remove content we have reasonable grounds to believe infringes third-party rights or otherwise violates these terms.
8. Website rental
If you purchase a website via our template solution, the following additionally applies:
- You rent (do not own) the website itself and its functionality. The website is administered on our platform.
- The domain is registered and remains in your own name — you remain the owner of the domain at all times, regardless of whether the website rental agreement is terminated.
- Upon termination of the website rental, your access to the template website ends. You keep your domain, but must arrange for it to point elsewhere (e.g. another website) yourself, if you wish to continue using it.
- Content you have added to the website yourself (text, images, etc.) can be requested upon termination; we are not obligated to retain it after the agreement ends.
9. Liability and warranties
We facilitate contact between users seeking a bookkeeper/accountant/other profile and the businesses/employees who have created a profile with us. We are not a party to any agreement that may be entered into between a profile owner and a customer who has contacted them.
We do not guarantee a specific number of inquiries, customers, or revenue as a result of having a profile with us, regardless of profile type.
We aim for high uptime and operational stability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation of the platform. We are not liable for indirect losses, including loss of business or lost profits, resulting from downtime or system errors, unless caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
10. Misuse and account closure
We reserve the right to suspend or close an account or profile if we have reasonable grounds to believe that:
- the information provided (including CVR/registration number or company information) is false or misleading,
- the account is being used to create duplicates or otherwise misuse the platform, or
- the user otherwise acts in violation of these terms or applicable law.
No refund is given if cancellation occurs on our initiative due to misuse.
11. Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: outages or failures at our hosting provider or other technical subcontractors, power outages, internet outages, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or government restrictions and orders.
In the event of force majeure, our obligations are suspended for as long as the force majeure situation persists. We will endeavor to restore normal operations as soon as possible and inform affected users where practically feasible.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. In the event of material changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised, and you will be informed accordingly. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes will first be sought resolved amicably; if this is not possible, the dispute will be subject to the Danish courts.
14. Contact
